At Aonach Mhacha, we were lucky to host fantastic musicians on 17th June. Máirtín Ó Connor on the accordion, Cathal Hayden on the fiddle and banjo and Kevin Doherty on the guitar and vocals played to a packed house in Cultúrlann Aonach Mhacha for the magnificent sell out concert. The trio ar internationally renowned and have played in prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House and New York’s Symphony Space Centre.

Big thanks to the outstanding musicians that played at the beginning, Róise and Eimear McGeary, Danú and Rioghnach McKinney and Cadhla Tohil, award winning Scor na nÓg musicians from the Madden Raparees club. Thanks also to The Smyth Clann for organising this special event and to the girls from SEACHT and CAIRDE Teo for their help on the night. A fantastic night all round!
