The second term of Irish language classes in St Catherine’s College, Armagh gets underway on Wednesday 15 January. The 12 week term will continue to 8 April and the cost is £30 for the term or £15 for unwaged. The classes cater for all levels and take place in the Irish medium unit at the back of the school. Entrance via Nursery Road/Callan Bridge Road.
The advanced level class will take place on a Thursday night from 7pm and will start back on Thursday 16 January at Armagh Men’s Shed in Coppersmith Entry, opposite the new cultúrlann. The class will move into Aonach Mhacha as soon as it opens in the next couple of weeks.
The Monday evening classes in the Railway Bar with Freddie Toal are also back underway. Intermediate level 7pm – 8pm and beginners 8pm – 9pm.
Additional classes will take place in the new cultúrlann Aonach Mhacha, which is due to open in early February.
