Aonach Mhacha is delighted to announce that you will now be able to study a Diploma in the Irish Language in Armagh. We greatly welcome this exciting new opportunity into our Cultúrlann located in the heart of Armagh City. This excellent course is in alliance with Ulster University, Northern Ireland’s Number One university for student satisfaction.
With the completion of this two year course you will gain ample opportunity and career path options. Venture into this highly structured course guided by expert tutors and start your journey into the beautiful language that is Irish. This course is renowned for its excellence in teaching and emphasis on functional Ulster Irish. You will be able to hone your language skills within a group and receive continual feedback from your tutor. This course gives you a grounding in pronunciation, grammar, conversation, reading and writing skills. Once you have completed this course you are equipped with the necessary tools to continue your study at a degree level.
Experience being part of our Irish Language community and gain confidence speaking Irish and visiting our Gaeltacht areas. This Diploma offers you the first steps into speaking Irish. Former students have gone onto prestigious positions such as producers and journalists with TG4, BBC and Ráidió Fáilte.
